Internal Assessment or Evaluation
1] Each paper consists of 70 marks – 50 marks for university examination and 20 marks
for internal evaluation which is done continuously throughout the year and shall consist
of heads such as assignments, library work, unit tests, attendance etc.
2] Each student is required to pass internal evaluation and external university examination
of each subject separately.
A) The minimum passing score in each subject head (internal and university separately)
is 25% (07 out of 20 and 18 out of 50). Those who fail in more than 50% subjects in the
internal evaluation will not be allowed to appear for university examination.
B) Second class is awarded to student getting 48% marks or more in the examination. An aggregate score of 48% in the internal and university examination is not enough. 48% in the internal and university examination is not enough. 48% is must in the university examination and in internal evaluation separately.
C) First class is awarded to students getting 60% marks or more in the examination. An aggregate score of 60% is must in the university examination and in internal evaluation separately.
3] Exam form will be withdrawn if a student does not have 75% attendance in the every semester.
4] A student who fails to appear in the internal examinations will not be allowed to appear for the university exams and his / her form would be withdrawn.
